We’re dedicated to improving both the physical and digital infrastructure across our National Landscape, ensuring it’s more accessible for everyone – no matter their age, ability, or background.
The fund provides support for capital spend only – this is a one-off itemised cost where funding is used to purchase or invest in a physical item or asset (a capital item). The aim must be to improve accessibility for users within the National Landscape who may be facing barriers.
This fund, established by the Department for Environment, Food, and Rural Affairs (DEFRA) and is managed locally by the East Devon National Landscape team.
Grants are awarded on an ongoing, first-come, first-served basis, so if you have a brilliant idea, please get in touch to check its eligibility.

Projects, or applicants, don’t need to be within the East Devon National Landscape boundary but must benefit the area and meet the aims of the fund.
The total grant pot available is around £95000. There is not a minimum or maximum amount but we’d expect projects to be around £2000 – £20000 depending on the scale of work but are open to ideas.
