FiPL case study: South Combe Farm
EDNL
South Combe Farm
Supported by the FiPL Fund

The focus of this project is to develop and maintain a quality relationship with the local community and holiday makers, allowing them to access South Combe Farm in a manner of different ways and engage with the farm to better understand the link between landscape, nature, and food production.

This will include creating a ‘dog walking’ field by planting new hedging and the installation of fencing and both pedestrian and vehicle gates.

The owners of South Combe Farm wish to support education, understanding and an appreciation of the natural and cultural landscape of the National Landscape. They hope to achieve this by organising and managing 8 educational visits (in collaboration with schools) on the farm.

They have developed an online presence to promote all elements of this project.
