The largest landslip in the UK provides the setting for this challenging but unforgettable walk through a truly unique landscape. Along the route, you’ll enjoy stunning sea views and shaded woodland tracks, passing through successional plant communities that support rare and ancient indicator species such as dog’s mercury and purple gromwell.
There are no facilities along the route. Facilities can be found in Seaton and Lyme Regis

An informal lay-by at Axmouth below the golf club access road provides a small number of car parking spaces and additional car parking is available in Seaton.
Or, if starting from Lyme Regis, then parking is available at Holmbush Car Park.

The walk begins in Seaton and ends in Lyme Regis (or can be walked in reverse), taking you right through along the Jurassic Coast to fossil hunting territory in Dorset. Please note that once you enter the Undercliff, there are no paths leading inland or seaward.
The 3.5-mile route typically takes around 3.5–4 hours to complete and is classed as challenging due to the steep terrain and relative remoteness.
