Sidmouth Arboretum is the UK’s only civic Arboretum. The area covers the entire Sid Valley, on private and public land.
Along the scienic Byes riverside walk in Sidmouth you’ll find over 200 trees from more than 50 species including poplar, horse and sweet chestnut, elm, cherry and even a giant redwood. The Byes Tree Trail is a 1 mile circular walking route which starts and ends at the Toll House gate in Sidmouth.
