Management Plan
Explore the priorities of the East Devon National Landscape

We are facing a nature and climate emergency. We are now starting to see first-hand the detrimental impact of climate change and loss of biodiversity on society and our economy.

Nature-based solutions provide a delivery mechanism that puts nature recovery at the forefront of creating a sustainable future for us all.

Through natural solutions we can tackle the environmental crises across multiple areas. Our strategic themes for the next five years reflect those key areas and will ensure that through our Management Plan, we will continue to conserve, enhance and protect the natural beauty of East Devon National Landscape.

Our four strategic themes are:

  • Nature
  • Climate
  • People
  • Place

Each theme has its own vision and is divided into further subthemes focusing on specific delivery targets.

East Devon National Landscape Management Plan 2025-2030

How will we deliver our targets?

The EDNL Management Plan sets out ambitious targets for the National Landscape. Our Delivery Plan is a strategic framework outlining responsibilities and how partner organisations will work together to achieve the objectives. The 2025-2030 Delivery Plan is currently in development, we will publish when adopted.
